A windy Oribaza Summit Day Report!

25/03/2018

SanFilippo Foundation Charity Climb, By Brian Muller, AMGA

Yesterday, we woke up at 1 am under perfect skies, and started up on our climb at 2am. As we arrived at the glacier the sunrise was quite a wonderful experience for all of us.  As we climbed the glacier the winds picked up and the whole team pressed on. We arrived on top at 11am although it was quite windy above 4500m, and our team for those brief moments were likely the highest people in North America at the time. A shout out to all of the wonderful people that made this group so great, and for the SanFilippo Foundation that everyone was climbing to support.
