Baruntse Expedition Wrapped Up!

Avalanche danger has us headed for home.

Damian has reported into today from the Khumbu. Our Baruntse Expedition has sadly come to an early conclusion. "We are in Deboche now and whilst I will be headed for EBC to see Willie, the team is heading home. We've been breaking trail in tonnes of snow for days, but after our amazing Mera summit weather, it's just been snowing more and more every day. From the West Col we saw no one, and we fixed to C1 (6140m). Then it started snowing hard. We tried to reach C2 but bad the weather and snow conditions were unsafe and on the 30th we decided it was better for us all to go home safe than carry on."
