Last night of tea houses for the Mera Peak team today!

Tomorrow they depart to Mera Peak Base Camp, and next day up to High Camp to attempt the summit on the 20th!

The team have really enjoyed a comfortable tea house with a fresh bakery and good coffee in Khare for the last two nights, a real chance to relax after a long approach. After breakfast today they all went for a short hike while Damian went on a "speed hike" to to check conditions on the upper mountain. He actually hiked direct to High Camp at 5,670m, and then back via Mera Peak Base Camp! A great day in the mountains for everyone!
